Wear Pink

Wear It Pink encourages people across the UK to wear something pink and raise money for Breast Cancer Now. This event is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK, taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Thousands of individuals, schools, and workplaces participate to show their support for breast cancer research and those affected by the disease.

Therefore, the day in the UK where people focus on this national cause, is most likely to be on Friday, October 24th, 2025, in support of Breast Cancer Now.

In Canada there is also a National Pink Shirt Day, which is primarily to stand against bullying. In 2025, this day will be on Wednesday, February 26th. Moreover, whilst some individuals and organisations in the UK might participate in this, the main “National Wear Pink Day” for a UK-specific cause is Wear It Pink in October.

Since its inception over 20 years ago, this event has raised more than £41 million,. Thus contributing significantly to Breast Cancer Now’s mission. This is to to ensure that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives well and is supported. The campaign is a fun and impactful way to unite people in the fight against breast cancer.
