Around Lunchtime on Friday 9th June Tanya & Deno, the directors of Stretch-n-Grow, will leave the iconic Herne Hill stadium in East London with their ‘Cheshire Flyers’ and a bigger peloton of riders all making the ‘Grand Depart’ of the Duchenne Dash 2017. For more information on the dash click here
London to Paris in 24 hours is the aim. Raising both awareness of and money for Duchenne is the mission. They will be riding the roads of East Sussex as you settle down to your Friday night and bustling to stay warm and turning on their lights Paris bound in the early hours as the race hits the shores of Dieppe.

The Duchenne Dash is a high-energy, endurance cycling event organized by Duchenne UK, designed to raise funds for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) research. It’s a 300km ride from London to Paris in just 24 hours, offering participants a challenging yet rewarding experience while supporting a vital cause.
Key Details:
- Next Event: May 16–17, 2025
- Starting Point: Herne Hill Velodrome, London
- Route: Riders travel from London to Newhaven, take an overnight ferry to Dieppe, then cycle through the French countryside to Paris.
- Finish Line: The Eiffel Tower, followed by a celebratory gala dinner.
- Fundraising Goal: £4,200 per rider
- Total Raised So Far: Over £7 million for DMD research.
